The Governor of Bukayriyah, Chairman of the Tourism Development Committee in the governorate, Engineer Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalifa, valued the visit of the governor of the region to the Bukayriyah governorate, and his sponsorship of the opening of the first strawberry festival in the Kingdom in its second edition, noting the efforts of the participating parties in the festival with its different specializations and roles, which are keen to develop the festival and its activities, to reach it To levels that the visiting masses aspire to, which contributes to gaining the confidence of citizens and residents at the level of tourism in the region.

The mayor, the general supervisor of the festival, Youssef Al-Khalifa, expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the governor of the region, head of the region’s tourism council, for his keenness and encouragement of agricultural tourism, and his preference today for the opening of the festival.

 

Diversity of festivals

Masoud Al-Ali Al-Luhaidan said: The Emir of Al-Qassim used to attend and participate with his sons, the people of Al-Qassim region. His opening of the festival today is a great support for those in charge of it, as well as support for tourism in the region. We welcome His Highness and thank him for his presence and honor.

For his part, a member of the Higher Organizing Committee of the festival, Engineer Hamad Al-Luhaidan, confirmed that the visit of the Emir of Al-Qassim is the real success of the festival. The main ones are the garden of strawberries and butterflies.

And Al-Luhaidan stated: The Qassim region was distinguished by the diversity of its festivals, which were hosted by the governorates in the region.
